Power Evangelism Church

Me and my lovely, wife, Sonny, suffering for Christ on vacation in San Francisco.  We are ready, Lord, to suffer for you in Italy, Germany, Costa Rica, Switzerland, England, Spain, and other hard places (smile).

Power Evangelism Ministries is an evangelistic 501(c)(3) ministry that strongly preaches and teaches  (1) repentance from dead works and faith towards Jesus Christ, (2) holiness, (3) the priesthood of the believer, (4) Christian liberty and responsibility, (5) the baptism of the Holy Ghost with the initial sign of tongues, and the subsequent evidence of power, (6) healing in the Atonement, (7) casting out demons, (8) eternal punishment of sinners, (9) eternal bliss of saints, and (10) the literal and imminent return of Jesus Christ to physically establish His kingdom on earth.

The ministry began in 1993 when a few of us got together to pray for more of God’s manifest presence in our lives.  We'd pray together a few evenings a week for 2-3 hours at a time, crying out to God for revival and the manifestation of the Holy Spirit.  Eventually this evolved into various outreaches.  We began to hold public and private healing and deliverance services with good results.  Many people were physically healed and even more were emotionally and spiritually healed of tormenting spirits—some dramatically so.  This continues to this day!

Eric has written and published an attractive 256-page book named Deliverance from Demons and Diseases:  Freedom from Incurable Diseases and Persistent Problems.  He has also written a 336-page book that will be published shortly, What Preachers Never Told You About Tithes and Offerings: The End of Clergy Manipulation and Extortion.  

The name Power Evangelism was adopted from John Wimber's book, Power Evangelism.  Basically, power evangelism is simply deliberate dependence upon the gifts of the Holy Spirit to bring people to Christ.
